The launch of Giddy-Up Greyhounds in May 2009 completes the integration of the three races codes and sports on-screen. Giddy-Up Greyhounds offers comprehensive analysis of greyhound meetings being covered by the TAB 7 days a week.
Delivered on-screen in three phases: the Race Appeal, the Speed Map and the Ratings Screen Giddy-Up Greyhounds continues’ Giddy-Up’s reputation for delivering the highest standard of on-screen ratings to TAB outlets across Australia.
Phase 1: Race Appeal and Race Overview
Race Appeal: A combination of the amount of form available on the field, how certain dogs are drawn and how we think the race will be run.
How much we like the race displayed as a percentage.
Race overview: Given the tight racing schedule, giving punters a quick overview is often crucial.
Phase 2: Early Speed Map
Early Speed: Given that most races are won by leaders, identifying which dog will be on the pace at the end of the first section is paramount.
Giddy-Up’s Early Speed Map plots where we think each dog in the field will be place at the end of the first section, which at most tracks is the first turn.
We also identify the 3 Early Speed Leaders.
Phase 3: Ratings Screen
Ratings: Our top 4 selections, rated from 100 give punters the best chance of backing a winner, with supporting data about which dogs have Early Speed and displaying individual comments for each runner in the race.
Our enhanced Ratings method gives punters a far clearer understanding of dog to dog comparisons. Sometimes a dog is only marginally better than a rival and this is when punters can identify value runners particularly for the exotics.
For example: a dog rated 100 paying $1.50 versus a dog rated 97 paying $5.50 points punters towards taking the value or playing the exotics.
