Giddy-Up Guide Greyhounds offers comprehensive analysis of Greyhound meetings being covered by the TAB 7 days a week, and supports the “live” on-screen version of Giddy-Up.
Giddy-Up Guide: Greyhounds is produced in two different formats:
The Long Version (3 pages per meeting) gives a complete analysis on the whole field, including:
- Race overview: Given the tight racing schedule, this gives punters a quick overview which is essential.
- Race Appeal: A combination of the amount of form available on the field, how certain dogs are drawn and how we think the race will be run. How much we like the race displayed as a percentage.
- The Jump Line (Straight, Left or Right): Acts as a supplement to the Run Line (Rail, Middle, Wide), and provides a clear picture of likely collisions.
- Early Speed: Given that most races are won by leaders, identifying which dog will be on the pace at the end of the first section is paramount.
- Ratings: The enhanced Ratings method gives punters a far clearer understanding of dog to dog comparisons. Sometimes a dog is only marginally better than a rival and this is when punters can identify value runners particularly for the exotics.
- Other features – the dogs Best Time (B/T) at that track and distance, recent Form and the overall Career record of the dog go to making the Giddy-Up Guide Greyhound service the best way to back a winner on the dogs.
While the Short Version is customized to fit the whole meeting on the one page, gives our top selections, with abbreviated data including: Jump Line, Run L0ine, Career, Ratings and Race Overviews.
The Guides are available to print in either colour or a printer friendly black and white option.
