SKY Decoder
Giddy-Up Connection at the Back of the SKY Channel (Racing) decoder
Giddy-Up transmits its data to decoders in venues via a link through the SKY Channel racing decoder located in venues. There are two ways in which the video lead connecting SKY and Giddy-Up can be attacehd to the back of the SKY decoder:
- It should be noted that the most common method of connection is via the video out RCA connection
- The second less common method of connection (technically it makes no difference) is to have a scart connection out of the SKY decoder to RCA connection at the back of the Giddy-Up decoder
Should the connection between SKY and Giddy-Up be unplugged or loose then the Giddy-Up decoder will show a blue “diagnostics” screen.
