FAQ's
 

My Giddy-Up TV screen is just showing the Giddy-Up TV logo page

If your Giddy-Up TV screen is only displaying the home screen and you have powered the set top box off and then on you'll need to check the following things:

  1. Is your internet working in the venue? (if it's not the power light on the front of the set top box will be blinking)
  2. The Giddy-Up TV set top box has a network cable correctly connected in the back of it and has activity lights (view decoder pictures for an explanation of where the cords should be plugged in)

If all of the above is correct, then you'll need to contact the Giddy-Up office for further advice / support.

My Giddy-Up TV screen is Snowy, Blue or displaying "No Signal"

If your Giddy-Up TV screen is snowy (fuzzy), blue picture or displaying "No Signal" and you have powered the set top box off and then on you'll need to check the following things:

  1. Ensure Giddy Up set top(s) box has power and is turned on
  2. That the composite video lead (when modulated) is connected in the yellow composite port (view decoder pictures for an explanation of where the cord should be plugged in)
  3. That modulator has power and the lead is plugged into the video in connection
  4. If HDMI, ensure that the HDMI lead is connected correctly
  5. The television is on the correct input/source
  6. Television is on the correct channel
  7. Television hasn't lost tuning. E.g. Blackout/power surge

If all of the above is correct, then you'll need to contact the Giddy-Up office for further advice / support.

 

My Giddy-Up TV screen is not showing a current race or sport screen

If your Giddy-Up TV screen is displaying an old/past race or sporting event, then you'll need to check the following things:

  1. Reset your STB
  2. Is your internet working in the venue? (if it's not the power light on the front of the set top box will be blinking)
  3. The Giddy-Up TV set top box has a network cable correctly connected in the back of it and has activity lights (view decoder pictures for an explanation of where the cords should be plugged in)

If all of the above is correct, then you'll need to contact the Giddy-Up office for further advice / support.

My Giddy-Up TV screen is displaying a TEST pattern (No Application Found)

If your Giddy-Up TV screen is only displaying a TEST pattern (No Application Found) screen and you have powered the set top box off and then on you'll need to contact the Giddy-Up office for further advice / support.

My Giddy-Up TV screen is working but is displaying thin black horizontal lines across the screen

If your Giddy-Up TV screen is displaying thin black horizontal lines across the screen and you have powered the set top box off and then on you'll need to contact the Giddy-Up office for further advice / support.

My Giddy-Up TV screen is displaying a black and white vertical line

If your Giddy-Up TV screen is displaying a black and white vertical line it will be a modulator fault, you will need to power the modulator off and then back on if this doesn't rectify the issue you'll need to contact the Giddy-Up office for further advice / support.
