Technical Support for Giddy-Up on-screen:
FAQs
My Giddy-Up screen is showing a “Diagnostics” page, what does this mean?
A diagnostics screen is the Giddy-Up decoder flagging there is no signal being received from the SKY 1 decoder.
It will show the blue diagnostics screen then it will reboot and then it will come up with the GU default page (Picture of the Giddy-Up Logo).
It will continue this cycle until it receives signal from SKY 1.
If your Giddy-Up screen is showing a diagnostics screen, you need to ensure:
- That your SKY 1 channel is working
- That the video lead running between Giddy-Up and the SKY 1 Decoder is plugged in. This could be a single video lead or it could be a scart lead
- That the Giddy-Up decoder is working, it is advisable to reboot the Giddy-Up decoder and in some cases the SKY 1 decoder
- That the SKY 1 decoder is on channel 7 or 9 in all states apart from WA where it needs to be on 10
If all of the above is correct, then you’ll need to contact the Giddy-Up office for further advice / support.
